There are 5 important questions you need to ask before you choose your pet transporter. If you don't know what they are, click here for the questions and Airborne Animals responses.
Pet relocation services are available to individuals as well as corporations. Pet moving services are not necessarily for those people who want to take a pet on vacation, but are more geared for the family moving to a new location. We have contacts all across America as well as many foreign countries to assist with moving of the four-footed family member. Pets may be shipped all year long.
The advantage of hiring a pet transportation company is to remove the stress of organizing the pets move from your life so that you can concentrate on the rest of the issues of moving. When you hire a professional that moves many pets per year and knows the in and outs of the industry, the pet relocation can go much smoother than when an individual struggles to do it by alone. Most accidents and pet moving incidences occur to the pet being moved by an individual that means well but doesn't really know how to accomplish it.

Various are difficult to transport
Several airlines no longer transport the following breeds:
- American Pit Bull Terriers
- American Staffordshire Terriers
- English Bulldogs
- American Bulldogs
- French Bulldogs
Please note that Airborne Animals has no control over airline poicies and regulations. We must follow the same rules as the genreal public. We can however, sometimes find alternative routing or use a cargo airline rather than a commericial airline.
The breeds above frequently have medical emergencies during transit, and have a higher incidence of death versus any other breed. The airlines who now refuse these breeds have learned they do not handle the stress of travel well.
Airborne Animals wants to make pet owners aware that shipping these breeds by air may not be the best way to move them.
