Airborne Animals - Specialists in pet transportation & pet relocation International and Domestic pet transportation & pet moving services
Airborne Animals LLC is dedicated to safe pet moving and pet transportation services of household pets.

There are 5 important questions you need to ask before you choose your pet transporter. If you don't know what they are, click here for the questions and Airborne Animals responses.
Pet relocation and pet transportation services are available to individuals as well as corporations. Pet moving services are not necessarily for those people who want to take a pet on vacation, but are more geared for the family moving to a new location. We have contacts all across America as well as many foreign countries to assist with moving of the four-footed family member. With our knowledge about pet relocation, we ship all year long.
Airborne Animals LLC acts as a pet moving company and pet limo combined into one service.
The advantage of hiring a pet transportation company is to remove the stress of organizing the pets move from your life so that you can concentrate on the rest of the issues of moving. When you hire a professional that moves many pets per year and knows the in and outs of the industry, the pet relocation can go much smoother than when an individual struggles to do it alone. Most accidents and pet moving incidences of illness or death occur to the pet being moved by an individual that means well, but doesn't really know how to accomplish it.

European authorities are enforcing the EU rules: your pet must have a microchip implant FIRST, then a rabies vaccine after it, then a rabies titer test (if applicable) in order to enter Europe. A pet with a microchip implanted after the rabies vaccine may be held, or returned to the USA, or quarantined. Please note, some of the European Community countries will be changing ther rules for importing pets as of 1 January 2012.
Many foreign countries do not allow individuals to ship their own pets back to the USA, and Homeland Security also requires an agent for pet transportation into the USA - so be aware if traveling overseas, you will need to hire a pet shipping agent to ship your pets home. We can help you and make arrangements with one of our colleagues. You will need to contract for shipment back to the USA in advance in order to meet the new regulations.
Pet Shipping News you need to know:
Pet Scams Proliferating on the web!
The purpose of this notice is to increase the awareness of pet owners; to caution them to do their own research and to ask questions before making any kind of financial commitment on the Internet. Airborne Animals LLC does not sell puppies or kittens, and will not be emailing you for any payments or customs duties. We do not get paid via Western Union. If any other companies or person asks you to contact us on their behalf for payments, etc....It's a scam! Be wary of sites asking for payments via Western Union wires, & sites with phone numbers from Cameroon. These are but two of the warning signs. Here's a link (cut ad pasteyour browser) to a story about a scammer using a name similar to our business name:
Scammers also copy other peoples websites, including pet photos and personnel pictures - so if you see my pictures someplace else,or are told Airborne Animals is handling the move,or if they keep coming back for money (special crate, heating pad, cusomts fees) it's a SCAM. Please forward me any emails or websites using our name or logo or the IPATA logo so we can submit to scam fighters and have the website taken down.
Several airlines no longer transport the following breeds, or limit their shipment to certain months:
American Pit Bull Terriers
American Staffordshire Terriers
Several other snub nosed breeds are also affected by airline policies including Pugs, Boston Terriers, Lhasa Apsos, Shih Tzus and other bracheocephalic breeds.
Please note that Airborne Animals has no control over airline poicies and regulations. We must follow the same rules as the general public. We can however, sometimes find alternative routing or use a cargo airline rather than a commericial airline.
The breeds above frequently have medical emergencies during transit, and have a higher incidence of death versus any other breed. The airlines who now refuse these breeds have learned they do not handle the stress of travel well.
Airborne Animals wants to make pet owners aware that shipping these breeds by air may not be the best way to move them.
We specialize in pet shipments to the UK and Ireland, as well as the whole of Europe.
Many countries now require pets be microchipped and then rabies vaccinated prior to shipment.
Most countries will require USDA endorsement on documents. We are happy to assist with the required documentation for pet import and export.
